Explore the rich history of the lighthouses between Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and York, Maine—including Boon Island Light, Whaleback Light, Portsmouth Harbor Light, White Island (Isles of Shoals) Light, and Cape Neddick “Nubble” Light. Jeremy D’Entremont reveals the fascinating stories of lighthouse keepers and their families, and discusses the present-day preservation efforts for these maritime sentinels.
