Description
Our ancestors had a keen knowledge of the natural world around them, using native plants for everything from food and dye to medicine and personal hygiene. As a living historian, Hannah Peterson has researched the use of herbs and plants in Maine, and explored how they were prepared. Using hands-on examples of plants, dyed fabrics, and primitive tools, she shares her extensive knowledge of this unique aspect of Maine’s history.Date & Time
